12/22/2008: I've been bugging this guy at work to give, or even sell me his 1992 Mitsubishi Eclipse for over a year now. He blew the transmission on it and it's just been sitting in our parking lot at work. Well, since we've been down-sizing, our VP of Operations starting getting on his case to get rid of it. Finally after some finagling, I received the key on Thursday the 18th. Today I picked it up and towed it home. Free car, well almost free car, I had to rent a U-Haul car carrier for $40 and get some fix-a-flat for $5.

The plan is to either sell it whole as a parts car or part it out. I prefer to sell it whole and get some easy money, but if not, I will part it out via ebay and craigslist. Let's hope this goes well...

01/07/2009: I put the car on Craigslist and found a buyer in a reasonable amount of time. I sold it whole for $300.
